North Walsham is a busy market town just four miles from the North Norfolk coast and from the Norfolk Broads.
It is a pretty town and has a very friendly atmosphere. This market town also has an excellent college and a community centre which is well used. The town made its wealth from the wool trade which enabled it to build the second largest parish church in Norfolk.
The Church is situated in the Town Centre and is a peaceful haven for busy shoppers to sit quietly and recoup their energy before setting off to visit some of the many shops which are on offer.
There are miles of good footpaths around North Walsham including the Weavers Way long distance path which links in with others so that you can work out your own circular walk.
